For mostly HT as opposed to 2 channel. Approx. a 70/30 split. Any thoughts or comments on Klipsch sound. I know they have a reputation as bright with their horn design, but from what I've recently read that doesn't hold up any more. With new design & technology the reviews are equally superb with both HT & two channel listening. Any first hand listening experience? I have to get my ears on them to hear for myself.

I've heard the RF-63's and RF-82's at a local stereo shop and they had the Rti a7's and A5's all on a switch and I liked the RF-63 alot better than both a7's and A5's for HT. Didn't do any music listening as they were playing a movie at the time.

I would like to do a in home demo with the proper amplification on my rig and see the difference. They were being ran off a Pioneer Elite sc-07.

I had the entire RF-83 HT system with a Sunfire receiver & it ROCKED for H/T~ Incredibly efficient speakers. However, if you can swing the cashola, the Heritage series (La Scala, Klipschorn, Belle, Heresy) are the better deal in my book.

Some of the very best sounding theater system I have ever Installed had Klipsch speakers. Very very dynamic and sheer force impact.

They can play music when properly placed and powered. Careful selecting gear for them. I like them. There subs are badass as well.

Agreed with everything that's been said so far. My HT audio is boxed away but the sound for HT is just insane. Like Mantis said, pure dynamics and effortless high spl when called upon. None of the RF speakers are 'bright' IMO. I have a pair of RF-35(replaced by 82) and RC-62 center channel.

    TNRabbit,
Nice to see another Klipsch fan in here. I also love their Heritage speakers. I just sold my La Scalas:( but still have a pair of Cornwalls:).
