Speedy didn't pay 400 bucks to upgrade the crossovers without the option of making them 1.2TL's as that wouldn't make sense at all.

Here is a perfect example of Polk using labels from previous models. Note the blade/blade on the sticker yet they are obviously pin/blade. The sticker shows positive on the right but obviously that is incorrect. No fault of Speedy (Paul). People have been listening to these speakers out of phase for the last 20 years.

I just discovered this today on a different pair of speakers (1.2TL's) that I own. Note that the white wires are on the positives and the colored wires are on the negatives. This is incorrect as it should be the reverse. I was hoping and praying the the white wires were on the positive (wide posts) on the tweeters and they are. More crazy stuff.

Maybe I didn't read thoroughly enough--In your pics the (-) is the White and Yellow. The White and Yellow connect to the inside Left terminals (outside Right). And in your image showing the outside, the Black terminals are on the right. So with all that they appear to be correct. The only thing out of whack is the label. And if the Binding posts are correct (correct red and black positions with respect to the internal wiring), then unless people ignored the color of the binding posts and only went by the label, then people wouldn't have been listening to them out of phase for the past 20 years.

Or did I misinterpret one of the pics? Or did you already make some corrections?

That is because I made the correction after I pulled the xover and discovered the mistake. Now that you point that out I should have taken a pic showing the positive binding post nuts on the right and then later show them on the left which of course is the correct position.

Makes sense now--Since those binding post caps just screw off, somebody probably thought that a previous owner put them on wrong (based on the label) and put them back to what the label indicated should be right (which apparently would be wrong) -at least that assumes the internal wiring is correct anyway. Perhaps this merits a call to Polk CS to confirm.
Not sure what schematic your supposed to use with these since they were modded, but interestingly enough if you look at the SDA SRS 1.2TL schematic, and you trace the HF Input Negative (black), it traces directly to the Positive (green) on T4. ???

Please note that on post #33 in the photo on the right, I made the correction and put the binding post nuts where they should be. Positive on the left (red nuts) and negative on the right (black).

The above post is incorrect. The white wires are supposed to be on the positive xover positions and then the white wire goes to the negative post of the tweeter (wide blade) as per the schematic.

You should make sure the binding posts are connected to the correct phase wire internally, but you should install the binding posts to conform to the label on the back of speaker. ie, Black posts on the left as you look at it. Prevents confusion later when anyone notices the label and posts in different positions.

That's not a bad idea, however, I'm thinking about taking a photograph of the sticker on the back of my 1.2 TL's and then printing it out and placing it over the sticker on Jerry's 1.2's. I won't include the s/n's of course. Since I made changes to the binding cup post on the inside of the cabinet (I combined the upper and lower frequency thus eliminating the need for jumper wires) ...

I opened up my 1.2TL's and all the wiring looks perfect. From Binding Post colors, to connectors on the crossover board and all the wires going to the tweeters.

Sal, wasn't your tweeter wiring harness wires all white or is the above photo from the other speaker?

I notice in one of the photos that one of the wires has a green tag on it to represent the positive wire but does it follow down to the wire harness and go in the correct place? The reason I ask is because I remember your photo of the tweeter harness with all white wires and there was not a color tag near the harness...just wondering.
