Anyone else going to the Expo this year in Atlanta?

This will be my fourth show, and I'm teaching a couple classes this year.

I always enjoy walking the show floor, getting to see all of the cool new product, and hanging with other dealers/integrators.

I probably won't be able to meet up with many people outside of downtown, but if anyone is coming to the show, let me know.

I'm doing CES 2010 instead due to some industry news but CEDIA is on my short list for attendance at some point. Atlanta is awesome.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

Is this open to the public, or is it just people in the biz?
I refuse to argue with idiots, because people can't tell the DIFFERENCE!

I don't remember for sure. It seems like it is primarily open to the media, dealers, and vendors, but some general "public" might be able to visit.

For the first 3 years, I wasn't a member of the organization, but I did have an integration business.

Take a look at CEDIA's site. It may have more info there: http://www.cedia.net/expo/index2009.php

I hear this every year from you Mark ;)

It is a great show, especially for networking within the industry. The first couple of years, I was searching for product lines. Now that I've got most of my regular lines, I'm going as a volunteer. The class I'm teaching will be with Anthony Grimani.

This year will be down in number and even down some in quality(my opinion). Denon/Marantz/Boston....etc will not be displaying in the main hall this year.

I know, I have said it before. I got burned out on trade shows and took a break....then the economy tanked and CES sucked this year anyways. Eventually I'll be cool like you Okie : - )
