Seriously? It's a movie and it supposed to entertain you. Manipulate? May be not, unless for someone with a twisted soul!

When I watched the movie, I was so angry coz Hitler is alive in there. I thought he was long dead. Hans? I hate that multilingual SOB to the core! He could even speak English better than me and being a German and his fluency in French and Italian! I am even laughing louder than dual SVS PB13U subs when I saw he got the engraving on his forehead near the end of the movie.

Oh man, Aren't we a little paranoid about a movie? :D

Now, now, peaches...don't go putting words in my mouth. 216.gif

I found a lot of the dialogue fun and hilarious. It's one of the reasons I'm a fan of Tarantino's movies in general. The violence really doesn't bother me one way or another because it's a work of fiction. I would have liked the movie just the same without it.

What's interesting to me is why you, who must have known that over the top violence is a running theme in Tarantino films (not to mention the trailer gave it away even if you never heard of him), chose to watch such a movie in the first place. Can you explain this?

I have no doubt that you may be right and Tarantino has an agenda. The thing is Tarantino can't control my interpretation of the movie....and neither can you! :D

And to think that the OP happens to be a Jew who just happened to have a nice discussion with his grandmother this very Sunday about how much family they lost during the Holocaust - names and all. Even saw a few letters written discussing the possibility of coming to America, as times were getting quite dire. Aspirations to bring themselves as bakers to a land which might provide some safety and even more in way of opportunity.

Wow... I had no idea I was so "Anti-Semitic". Must come with the "Berkowitz" name...

you really missed a good movie. To enjoy the movie, you need to get into the characters. Sometimes after a long day of work it isn't so easy to do that.

X, I guess its ok if people are killing each other with this type of viloence.

Xcapri... I "should" but I "don't". In fact, my whole family thought it was beyond superb. And trust me... they're about as sensitive as they come when it comes to matters of Anti-Semitism.
What don't you get about the whole notion of a Revenge Fantasy? Do you think that every movie that fills that particular genre is ultimately a scathing indictment of the empowered victim?
You rather easily dismissed the whole "eye for an eye" possibility to move on to the greener climes of circular reasoning, but I'm not so sure I'm ready to cast that aside. My cousin and I actually hi-fived each other during a few scenes. A "fist-pump" here. A "**** yeah!" there. I loved it. Wouldn't it be great if we could all walk the higher road which you seem to be paving for us and simply state that we are disgusted with the actions of the ****? Maybe... I just had too much fun watching ****'s squirm.

Did Tarantino give us a wink and a nod while we were cheering during the final scene? Of course he did. But that's what makes his film ultimately fun.

You still don't realize that Tarantino is a sick manipulator and you were sucked in by him?
You can't handle that? The truth sometimes hurts doesn't it?

Look for Tarantino's manipulation and Jewish to **** role reversal.
When you see Brad Pitt and the "****" now imagine Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaeda.
Look at how he idolizes Goebbels and the Germans throughout the movie.
    Look for his ambiguities.
He is truly a devil at work.

Im gonna watch it 3 more times (Ive seen it twice) and feel the same way I did after watching it the first time. Just because "you say" isnt going to change my mind. I really hope he wins a few awards for this.

Make sure you mention the idea that Quentin Tarantino is a **** lover and he has duped all Jews in to loving the destruction of **** as...wait, no, that's not right.

Make sure you tell her that you love Quentin Taratino and use Goebbel as your inspira...wait, no, that's not right either!

Make sure you tell her that Gobbels and Tarantino actually had a love child and it was Brad Pitt....wait, that sounds wrong as well.

Ah hell, I have no idea what he's talking about. Just make sure she knows he called you a Jew hater because you like Inglorious ****. You lousy Jew hater! ;)

Somebody else has suggested the same idiotic premise? This thread is the first time I have heard this nonsense. Of course, the world is full of conspiracy theorists who know of all these plots that no one else seems to understand. I suppose Tarantino also was behind the 9/11 plot. After all, there isn't any evidence that he wasn't.
