#5 on your list...what do you mean by "reframe the cabinets"??
If you need advice on the plumbing, I can help.

I'm sure he means reface.

Actually --
I am putting tons of plywood into the cabinets. I am putting a new back to it (what goes against the walls) - dividers between sections, new shelves, new doors
New backs to the top cabinets and dividers
The cabinets are old school and need a lot of updating.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -

Be easier to rip out and replace... Havent priced new cabinets lately, but from the sounds of it you're putting a lot of wood into the existing ones, which I'm sure is costing a bit of money...Ludicrous gibs! -

I agree. It sounds like you are replacing everything except the face and basically rebuilding them.I know just enough to be dangerous, but don't tell my wife, she thinks I'm a genius.

It sounds like your completely rebuilding the cabinets...Did you price out buying new???
By the time you build all the boxes, make the front styles and doors, buy and install all the hardware, then depending on your finish, this could take quite a bit of time....not to mention the specialty tools you might need, and the amount of space needed to do this project.
Depending upon your experience with this type of work, it could be easy or a real nightmare......

Ah Nah - I have been doing framing and woodworking since I was like 13...
I've made alot of furniture and speaker cabinets....
I don't want the cabinets you can buy because I want flush mount doors that have no frame.
We are going for a very specific look and I would have to spend thousands in premade cabinets to get that look.- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit.
