93 degrees here in Richmond,Va. My son just got back from his 2 a day football practices and he said 6-8 kids had to sit out due to the heat. They were not properly hydrated so they burned through what little water they had in them in just a small amount of time.

    found it

That still only says 104, so the website is exaggerating. Either way, I know it is hot, but there seems to be a significant difference between the way Canadian forecasters calculate that number and the way its calculated down here in the States. 104 (or 108?) vs 95 is a big difference.
For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

Heck yeah! I know that forecasting is very BS sometimes.

You think? I remember when I moved down to the Carolinas many moons ago and one day the forecast said that it would be a warm, sunny day with a slight chance of afternoon showers.

    It snowed that day.

I don't mind the heat, it's our humidex! during summer and winter I hate the
    -30 to -40C wind chill
Some special with humidex in Canada. I can recall when I was in Bermuda (CDN military station), didn't matter how hot it was never felt that humidex crap overthere. No one would ever complain about being too hot or too cold, was always just perfect.

Hey Willow, the 104 - 108 forecast is probably the inside of the all day long unattended car (that is how it felt when opening the windows maybe 15 min ago) ;)

    Cheers!
