Need help matching a Polk center channle speaker with my m50 floor standing model. I need a center channel that matches but is less than 8" in depth. Any help.
Thanks,

Is this the Monitor 50, or a M50 model?
I don't see either as part of the current products, but there was a Monitor 50 quite recently, for which the correct center is the CS1, I believe. The CS2 is probably a correct match also, and is probably worth it if you have the extra cash (everyone that has the bigger Polk centers loves them, and would never go back to a smaller version). If there was a M50 as part of the M range, then the CSR seems to be the correct center.
In case of doubt, simply call or e-mail Customer Service, with your exact model designation, and they'll give you the answer you need. There is even an online chat feature that is monitored by the tech savy staff at HQ (not some idiot, like some of the IT suppliers' sites). You should see the text bubble icon on the top right of your screen.

Thank you for the help! They are the Monitor 50, however I am limited on space and it appears that most centers are 9 inches in depth. I was wondering if there was another match that was not as deep so it would fit on the mantel.
Thanks -

The CS1/CS2 would be the recommended choices for your Monitor 50's. I would recommend the CS2 over the CS1, but with your 9" depth requirement, that won't be an option for you (11 1/8") The CS1 however, is only 5/8" deeper than your 9" cutoff, and may be an option for you. I have always considered the cutoff for recommending the CS1/CS2 to be around the Monitor 50/Monitor 60, but would recommend the CS2 in either case, because IMHO it is the better of the two and not a huge diff. in price. Another option would be looking into the CS10/CS20, they are the part of the new TSi line, but are still timbre matched to the Monitors. The CS10 is only slightly deeper than the CS1, and the CS20 is actually a little less deep than the CS2. Hope this helps, and welcome to Club Polk.

An absolute awesome center channel, but not something I would recommend at all for your Monitors considering it won't be a timbre match and the depth exceeds what your requirement is.wutadumsn23 wrote: »The CS1/CS2 would be the recommended choices for your Monitor 50's. Wondering why the depth requirement though? Is it going into a type of cabinet/etc, you don't want a slight overhang? If its merely aesthetics, I think you should look more into it because a center channel is NOT what you want to skimp out on. If youre worried about how it looks honestly, you will kick yourself in the **** later because you didn't initially buy what you should've gotten for a CC. Goodluck on your center channel speaker though, its your setup and should be aimed to please you.Truck setup
