Hello Polkies!

I just bought Fxi3 from Polk's Ebay store. I'm planning to hang them on the wall and wondering about options for mounting brackets. Since my walls are high 10' , I'd like to use mounts that provide swiveling function.

Searched quite a few threads I came to know that these speakers comes with inbuilt key-hole bracket but did not find any definitive answers about swiveling brackets.

Does Fxi3 has one key-hole or two??

Here is my requirements.

1) Swiveling
2) Should not require any drilling on the speakers.
3) Obviously , should be able to bear the weight of the speakers (10-13lbs).

Thanks in advance for your replies. My apologies in advance if this has already been answered and I missed in my search..

Max.

Why do you want them to be able to swivel? The FXis are not meant to be directional or 'aimed' at you.

Your walls are 10' high, but do you have to mount them that high?

I have my FXi3s mounted about 8-9' (because I did have to mount them that high-over a window/walkway), and they sound fine. Try regular mounting first before doing any workarounds.

PRe-wired spots are right near ceiling. i.e. around 10'. Will that position be ok to deliver sound to 5-6' below?

    Thank

Where could I find them? Googling with WB 3000 did not help... Also , do they require drilling hole into speakers?

Well since the wires are there already, mount them in that spot, calibrate your AVR (if it has that cabaility), and see how it sounds. They're not supposed to be directional so it may work just fine for you. I think I recall something indicating that they should only be a few feet above the ears, but like I said, mine are up pretty high and it sounds damn good--would it be better if they were lower? Probably, but I have no choice so up high they stay. You may want to try Di-Pole mode.

Then if you don't like it, worry about angling or swiveling them.

This works great for me. I currently use it for LSi 7's, but I've used other speakers including the FXi A4.

The FXiA4's are what I want to setup behind me at a height of about 7' 6" to the bottom. This has to be this high due to doors. They will also be in the corners so they will need to be turned a little. Looking at the link I could not tell if these swivel and tilt enough at the same time. I would like to also confirm that you used these previously with the FXiA4 speakers being these speakers are not square or rectangular shaped. I will also be using these for my FXi3's surrounds.
