Hey,
Could someone help me out with a simple question(s). I noticed the price difference between the RTi10's and the RTiA7's. They look virtually the same. Other can cabinet differences (height and width) what are the differences between these two. I currently have RTiA3's for my front channel and a CSi5 center channel.
Thanks for your help.:

A lot of people have posted saying they think the newer A series sounds a bit better than the older series.
Keep in mind you will need a good amount of power to make either of those sing. The two big woofers plus the decent size midrange can put a hurtin' on smaller receivers. -

The differance is the price!!!! I just sold my RTI10's for $350.00 and picked up a pair of RTI12's for $500. So being a older model you can get great deals on the RTI series(used) and save money. I know it has been said that the RTIA series sounds better and Polk redid the cabinet but I heard both and there was little differance. Though let me say this was on 2 differant systems and enviroments. But this was my opinion.I do like the sleeker look of the RTIA series but I saved a bunch of cash staying with the RTI series and finding them used.Good power and cables will definately help.:)HT System

RTi12's ... hope you have 200watts or so.
What will you be using the drive them? -
I have done side by side listening with both models and the new RTia models are more refined sounding. Cleaner and clearer. More musical if you will. I was very impressed with the 7's. I say for for them over the older models.
