I thought some of you guys and girls might enjoy this article:

http://audiojunkies.com/blog/1677/the-worlds-15-sexiest-speakers-2009-edition

In my opinion a couple of them are fairly ugly. Not like I'd be buying any of them any time soon.

They look like a bunch of ripoffs. I see Wilson, NAD and even Infinity styling cues in a few of them.

First off I have my flame suit on so no worries.

Imo speakers are NOT sexy...........women are. I personally do not find inanimate materialistic possesions "sexy". 'Try telling your significant other sometime in the same sentence that I love you as much as my speakers and you are just as sexy as my speakers too. Betcha get backhanded, lol. If one starts to think speakers are sexy then it's time to take a break from audio and go getcha some!!!! Back to normal programming.

My TL's would should be on that list, as they most likely sound better or as good as half of them...and for less that 1/50th the cost of the least expensive of the bunch! and there is something erotic about watching 16 cylinders all firing in perfect unison... magic!

    ... fixed it for you....

I think for the price, they might be able to double as sex partners, but the wife/girlfriend might have strong opinions against such a relationship:p

The Sentinels from Avalon acoustics are made right down the street from me in Boulder CO. I got to listen to them in their showroom hooked up to a 500k setup, the sound was out of this world!

I find most of those kinda ugly myself...

I do like the Rockport Arrakis though. At $147,000 a pair...I'll never have any though. Even if I was totally loaded, I wouldn't be able to justify spending 150k on a pair of speakers.

Spending that much money on speakers seems kind of ridiculous to me. I'm sure they sound good...but good enough to justify spending 150k? I doubt it.

I heard the smaller version of these, and they were probably the best sounding speakers I've heard so far.

You know this really clears things up for me. I actually believe this statement. Speakers are not sexy. They are nice and works of art but sexy??? No. Jessica Beil is sexy. A women washing a car in a bikini is sexy. Keiko's Asian pic's are sexy(feel free to post them anytime you want LOL). Speakers in my opinion are not.

    Just my 2 cents
