Ha, it's like Jeremy was talking to some of the guys on this forum :
I realise that the hairy-chested among you will be scoffing and tutting and heading straight for this column on the internet so you can speak your mind. You will say “girl’s car” and “****” and all sorts of other things.

Well, that’s fine. You waste your money on a Mustang or a Ferrari. The fact is that if you want a sports car, the MX-5 is perfect. Nothing on the road will give you better value. Nothing will give you so much fun. The only reason I’m giving it five stars is because I can’t give it 14.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I trust Clarkson with a car review. I like his tv series. Especially the one where he destroys an old 911... Beats the crap out of it, shoots it, wrecks it...

Interesting... don't imagine that's a whole lot of fun to drive in the rain... or when it's buggy out!

Doors are lacking interior panels - very much a concept car then.

A miata is on my very short list of possible replacements for my 94 civic, when it finally decides it's had enough.

That concept looks cool, but I wouldn't drive it without a full face helmet. I hate bugs in my teeth!

But when driving cars like this, it brings a smile to your face that is hard to control.

About 43k LOADED. Over 500 horsepower. Does not scream chick.
43K for a ham fisted excuse of a throwback design that will fall apart in a few years. Give me a break. I would take two Miatas or 1 slightly used Boxter S before I even took a ride in that piece of ****.
