Gonna step up tp the plate... Ben has his quirks, given. But on a personal level, he has helped me acheive more than I thought I knew. He has invited me to his house, with an open door policy. Give him a chance, Brett.

I can't pretend to enjoy the privilege of knowing Ben nearly enough to defend him, but I seem to get along with quirky people in general, so I must be a bit of a quirk myself ...

I said I was a bit of a "quirk", NOT a bit of a "quack", LM, before you get started on one of your rampages!

There are plenty of less quirky people around than Ben, however, that might seriously make one despair that the human race might never survive.

Ben is a great guy who is always willing to help others. He doesn't always make the best decisions, but aren't we all guilty of that at times...

What an honor to have someone "deeply concerned" with your absence from the forum while dozens of others chime in and give their opinion. If nothing else, Ben is lucky to be so popular around here.

I think I could take a couple years off from this place and no one would notice. But, I would never leave the forum for an extended period of time. If I did, my pile of unused, unsold gear would amass at an uncontrollable level :)

For a guy that was the new guy here (ME) ,

He did'nt let that hold him back from helping me out. I myself hope to fly out and meet that sexy ****, Jerry as well ( another sexy **** ).

He said his door is always open when ever i get the chance too.

Ben has always been straight up with me. Hope all is well and he is back soon.

Let's hope he didn't try to start a fire, use a hand drill or mow the grass. Folks up there may think it is an emergency.;)

He set fire to the lawn mower while trying to drill a hole in the chicken coop. I think I covered it all...??
