surround bar am1805-a

I just bought the surround bar am1805-a. It sounds great when I got it hooked up, but I am having trouble getting the thing to sync to my remote. I have a brand new Panasonic Viera TV. I tried programming it about 10 times and it either doesnt take, or it only takes breifly and the first time the unit shuts off I have to re-program it. I tried changing the remote batteries thinking I had a weak signal, but nothing seems to work.

The problem gets especially bad when I put the grill back on. Its like the IR sensor is not strong enough to read the remote.

Any suggestions about why this might be????????

    Sorry to hear about your prob but if Polk customer service doesn't come in right away I bet many of the forum members here can assist you.
