The rooms were cool, but I wish the speakers were exposed. All but 2 systems seemed to be completely integrated with the decor. If I had the money, I would probably have all the speakers and subs hidden except for two massive main towers.

No kidding! Close to Cville? I'd like to experience what looks like an INCREDIBLE set up if you ever have a spare weekend (and I ever have $ left over for gas again...)

Yours isn't in simply because they will not market what they didn't design otherwise your set-up would fit in real nice ;) Nice set-up Grimster

Agreed, I feel let down because the some of nicer theaters are in our very own showcase. WTH is that about?

On another note, I been in the GRIMS HT and it is really kickass, lots of detail, comfy seating with a great image onscreen. To top it off I was offered some of the best damn lemon ice tea I ever drank. Those in the area definitely should plan a get together, super nice guy and fam in a great neighborhood. Rob see ya soon my friend.

I didn't look to see if there are any Polks in these pics but my son informed me that there are Polks in the Baltimore Aquarium's 4-D Immersion Theater.
As he was watching the show he said he noticed how good the sound was. He then looked around and saw Polk speakers. I was not there, but that would be really cool if Polk speakers were being used though. Can anyone confirm this?

Outstanding. That has you about an hour away at most. I've got a crazy week with the bank, debtors, etc trying to get the **** storm cleared up that the ex-old lady left behind, but I'd like to get up in the next couple of weekends.

And I'll be glad to contribute to the brew collection of course. :)

If you enjoy a good cigar I'll bring some Cuban dandies up with me.

Hey guys, I'd love to have a small get together but with my dad having open heart surgery tomorrow (8-4-09) I probably won't have the time till the end of the month this month or possibly the beginning of next month. I also have a game room with a pool table, darts as well as a air hockey table so if we run out of things to do in the H/T room there is plenty to do downstairs. Sherardp is supposed to be in the area soon from Japan so it would be great if I could plan the get together when he is in town. With him being in Japan he would love to meet some other fellow Polkies. Let me check with him and see when he will be in town and see if I can't plan something then. If he's not gonna be in town any time soon I'll shoot for a get together towards the end of the month or the first of next month. You guys let me know what ya think and we'll go from there.

First off, well wishes for your father's surgery. That's not to be taken lightly.

First of next month might work best on my end, as I've got some client visits to go on the latter 1/2 of this month. Then again, if the gathering grows, the client visits can always wait :)

Either way, sounds like a plan!
