I was trying to find this locally so I can go over and pick it up this evening and came across this stuff
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/detail/RBL0/138.oap?keyword=dynamat
Its called RBL Products - Xtreme Dyn and is supposed to be the same thing. Anyone heard of this?
I haven't. Who told you it is supposed to be the same? -
from the name of the product on O'Reilley's I searched for it and came up with this
http://www.rblproducts.com/indexnew.asp?section=products&type=Xtreme%20Dynamat
-It's thinner, lighter, more flexible, more sticky, easier to install, and more that 2 times the sound dampening power of DYNAMAT -

Wow! Sounds good. Too bad you don't have anyone here who has experience with it. -

SOPAThank God for different opinions. Imagine the world if we all wanted the same woman -
Has anyone experimented with any of the other brand names like fatmat, hushmat, roadkill?

Fatmat works well as I did my driver baskets, component and PC chassis with it. It's not as thick as Dynamat Xtreme, but much cheaper and works well. I will be buying it again.
