What is a used Denon AVR-3801 worth?

I’ve been using a Denon 3801 as my preamp and I’m ready to upgrade to a dedicated preamp and was wondering what would be a reasonable price to ask for the Denon.

I purchased the Denon receiver new in May 2001 (< 2 years old) and it has never been abused.

I also have the original box, operating instructions, remote and cheap cables.

    Ok,
    I'd put in on the market for around 400.00 or even 500.00.it's a solid receiver and is still pretty much current.

    It has alot of flexability and anyone who buys it for that price will have a hell of a good receiver for a very good deal.

    I would tell you to go 600.00...you can try but the avr3802 can be had for that price......not much different but you know with all the CURRENT wanting to be people of the world,they would choose it over the avr3801.
    See what happens .......give my numbers a try.

    Thanks for the feedback. I was thinking 400 to 450 would be a good price.
