Yet another Monitor 7 question

Hi, are the outside dimensions of all monitor 7 the same or was there some variation from model to model? My 7c's are 14" x 24" x 9 7/8" (WxHxD) where depth includes the grill. If you have a measuring tape handy please chime in with the dimensions of your speaker and specify which Monitor 7x. I am trying to justify an IKEA AV/TV stand and the Monitor 7c I was using as a CC is an inch too tall to squeeze in the spot I imagined it would live in. Do I rebuild my Monitor 7 to fit in the spot or keep an eye out for a different vintage Polk that will squeeze in to the 14 1/2" x 23" space?
Thanks
Abel

I think they were all basically the same dimensions. Those are the same dimensions as my (1978) 7A's.

I think the Monitor 7 Series II was a little bit deeper...due to the beveled baffle edge. Couldn't be much more than an extra quarter inch or so though.

To answer your other question, I'd just keep your eye out for a different speaker. What other speakers will you be running in your setup?

My mains (right and left channels) are RTA 12c's my surrounds are Monitor 5JR+, with a single Monitor 7c as the center channel, and a Infinity Interlude 100 Sub. Right now I am leaning towards building an enclusure of equal volume that would fit in the space and just keep the empty shell of the Monitor 7 so the drivers can always go back.
