Best amp for LSI 25

Just got a pair of LSI 25s and am impressed enough to consider getting a dedicated amp. Considering a used amp of high quality. A friend mentioned a Plinius 8200. However, I read some reviews that said it doesn't handle rock music very well. I could definitely use some suggestions. Seems like there are lots of higher-end used amps to choose from in the $1,000-1,500 range. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Jude,
There are many threads on this. Most say anything over 200 wpc is a good choice. Though you must make sure that the amp you choose will work with a 4 ohm speaker.
I don't know much about Plinius so I cannot say without looking it up. I would suggest a Sunfire 300x2. You should be able to get one of those in the range you are looking at.
If you don't have that much $$$ I would suggest a Carver TFM 35 or better. A Carver TFM 55 would deliver 500 wpc into 4 ohms and you can get one for about $500.Sunfire TGP, Sunfire Cinema Grand, Sunfire 300~2 (2), Sunfire True Sub (2),Carver ALS Platinum, Carver AL III, TFM-55, C-19, C-9, TX-8, SDA-490t, SDA-390t -
