Can a pitch tell you something about a President's character?

Here's a link to an interesting news article.

Here's President Obama's Pitch:

Here's Bush's Pitch:

In this clip, you can actually see the catcher crouching in front of home base. So we at least know Obama fell short. I can't tell whether the ball was scooped or not. Either way there was booing from the Yankee crowd. It could be because the pitched sucked, he was wearing a Sox jersey, or people hate his policies. Perhaps the Sox jersey is cover for the other two choices. Who knew baseball could be so political.

Seriously? You're gonna judge a president by his baseball pitch? Do you judge ANYone by their baseball pitch except baseball players? Even AMONG BASEBALL players you don't judge by their pitch UNLESS THEY ARE A PITCHER.

Please know a mucking joke when you see it . . . I can only surmise that you are so upset because an element of truth exists in the joke.

Someone get the popcorn, this could get ugly.....Politics aside, Obama is Basketball fan, a UNC fan at that. Looks like Bush had a better grasp at throwing a baseball for sure. Bush always seemed like a decent person, so far Obama seems like a good man.

Sure, a pitch can tell you something about a president - how well he throws a pitch.

Bush has been around baseball all his life. May have something to do with it?
I wonder what a dart throw competition might tell about one or the other? A pie-eating contest? Curling? Bocce ball? Australian Rules Football? Lawn darts?

Yes... I think you've got it. The media is providing excessive coverage of a botched baseball pitch to cover up the fact that Obama is currently bathing in the blood of six thousand virgins whilst sucking on the marrow of a motherless goat.

Maybe it can. The pitch seemed a little short of home plate, like many of things he's tried to accomplish.

I bet its a bit more difficult to throw a baseball with a bulletproof vest on, which I assume any president has on in an open area like a baseball stadium.

Also, I think history will show how much the Bush presidency divided this country.

I agree...I just never thought about the security concerns for ANY president throwing out the first pitch until they brought it up on a Sports-talk show the other day.

Oh yeah. I know YOU were joking. But you KNOW there are "Americans" out there that don't think of it as a joke at all if they saw this. They would agree with it. My ranting was more directed at them.

Well, after careful observation of both videos, comparing and contrasting each one, I think my analysis of Bush's pitching performance definitely does reveal that, yes, he does suck royal donkey nougats.

I never would have thought that prior to viewing that video, but ..... well .... the video doesn't lie !!!
