I'm on it under an alias. I use the account to check out the crap my two kids post, etc as they think they are just there amongst their school friends. Very enlightening. Mostly harmless crap.

I did fook up once concerning my son last year. He is 18 was two months out of just getting his license AND his first car (We gave him a non-trade left over to commute to college). My son talked about driving it at 100 mph on the back roads in Vermont.

I advised him that if ever got into a car wreck and had a resulting lawsuit, etc, these statements could be used against him. (Whether he did it for real or was just bragging is immaterial).

Shortly afterward my son privatized his account. OK. Now, it is harder for other people who could use his words against him. But now Mom and Dad cannot use this as a channel to check out how things are going for him in a manner that his parent's watchful eye are there as adult situations come on line...

Other than that, I prefer my real friends to be of the in flesh type, so no Facebook here.

I started an account to have an easy place to post pictures and commentary for my family and friends to follow the progress as our house is built. I don't add too many people. And "family and friends" doesn't include any of you biatches. ;) But, if anyone wants to see our pics on there, pm me and we'll see what we can do.
