Quicksilver yes, RAD...never heard of it....BMX was the rage in my childhood? Not really, Schwinn bikes were!

X-treme sports are fairly recent for those in my age group. and people born in the 80s are kids? I've got to be somewhere close to GG's age! But I think that we don't consider ourselves 'old', yet.

Kevin Costner in "American Flyers", movie about the "Coors Classic" bike race up Pike's Peak...

"Breaking Away" was good, a college student discovers that his favorite Italian racing team was not as great as he thot they were. They ended up racing in the Indiana University Schwinn 500.... dunno if they still have either race or if it was created for each movie...
