Polk RMDS-1 system speaker hum problem

My "old" RMDS-1 system has started a loud hum. I've checked all the connections and they seem ok. It does the hum on any input: Cable DVR, DVD, etc. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

have your professional authorized dealer that sold the unit to you check it or repair as needed.

Thanks for the replies. A friend who is pretty knowledgeable about these things said to get a ground loop isolator. I found one on Amazon for $25. It has coax connections on each end. I put it between the cable TV coax and the cable box/DVR and the hum went away. Now everything sounds good again. May not be the best way to fix it but it works. Thanks

The one I got from Amazon was the Viewsonics VSIS-EU Cable TV Ground Loop Isolator, $25
