what a dick! I cannot believe he would not wait one day to surely get more for them than he stands to get this way. You should figure out a way to leave negative feedback.

I've already reported him to eBay. going to see if they can pull the new ad and lock his account.

And you're right F1. I thought the same thing when I found out what an **** the guy was.

Have you talked to the guy since the listing?

What a nitwit this guy is !! That model is the one that I've seen less frequenly than all the others. I hope he takes a real "bath" on his auction and that you're able to knock down his 100% feedback rating!!

the seller should be understanding and reasonable
especially under the circumstances and should have given you
    the courtesy to discuss.

you'll find another and better deal.

hope you got your tires are fixed and ready to rock and 'roll'.......

You're still entitled to leave negative feedback for the auction. And he can't leave it for you. That should put his feed back at 80%, which is crappy.

This almost seems like a Apatow movie. He's going to read this thread, and there's going to be a sub-plot about a guy trying to track down a rare speaker and it gets parted out when he gets a flat in his next movie script.

80% is pretty terrible. But, I'd rather just get his account banned all together.

It was weird. I lost the first auction and five minutes later he emailed me with a second chance offer. He was willing to ship the speakers if I was on the west coast. He said the shipping would be over two hundred dollars a speaker to ship to the east coast. Even if it was four hundred to ship to Pennsylvania, the price would be around $650.00 I said I would take them if he was willing to ship them. Mind you I could have pulled the trigger on the second chance offer at anytime and technically they would be mine. The guy does not respond to me and puts the item up for bid again. If I wanted to I could have used the buy it now on the second chance offer but I had a feeling there was something not quite right with this guy. I was hoping a Polk member could get a hold of them. It is a real shame this guy screwed you over. I hope you do shut his ebay account down or post a negative feedback. I would be happy to back you up on my end.

If you feel like it, report him for suspicious activity. I haven't heard back from my report yet (don't think they actually do).

Anyway, It sucks, but I might have found a good 'consolation' prize here in Orange County. Wish me luck and think good thoughts for me. It's a 'decent' shape pair of SDA-1's (Original). One of the tweeter's is blown, but hey, Maybe my 7Bs will feel like donating their one good tweeter to the cause.
