Diana Krall in Concert 7/8/2009

Greetings!

I'm psyched. My wife is still recovering from a knee replacement. But she told me I could go as long as I didn't take the 24 year old blonde with breast implants.:D Actually I purchased a single ticket which allowed me to get into the 8th row just left of center.

Anyone seen this current concert tour?

    Yes I did.

    I just saw her in Atlantic City last Month. She was amazing. intimate setting with excellent sound quality. Volume was perfect to sit back and relax and listen to her and her band smooth out the room. I had seats in the 6th row. I could see the color of her eyes. The Bass player is fantastic and he does quite a few solos.

    Just saw her in the new movie Public Enemies. She plays a cameo role as a singer in sultry a lounge. I knew it was her when I heard the singing start, even before she was shown on screen.

    The concert was great! I sat eight rows from the front, left of center. Basically the usual quartet of Diana, Anthony Wilson, John Clayton and Jeff Hamilton. They played about 2 hours. The band was perfect, Diana's voice took a while to warm up. I think she's done a lot of touring her voice was a little raspy at times. Got better as the night came on. Great show!! "Quiet Nights World Tour", see it if you can!

    Ted, she wore a tight little sleeveless, black dress with fire engine red pumps that would light anybody's fire!
