I recently started noticing more and more higher frequencies that used to be crisp become staticy and fuzzy, this only happens on certain songs so i'm not sure what to think is it the music or the speaker because i am listening to mp3's

Is this fuzzy/static noise coming from MP3's you've played before and did NOT exhibit a static/fuzzy sound? If you haven't played the MP3 songs you are having problems with, it just may be the quality of the mp3 itself. Your setup may just be revealing the flaws, I personally go with lossless formats.

Well thats the thing i've used FLAC files and they also exhibit the static/fuzzy sound, also the sound seems to be coming out of both speakers

What are you using to power the speakers? And how is the music being passed to the receiver/amp?

Finally did you clip the receiver at any point? Because TSI tweeters are 'easy' to blow if you clip a non-high current receiver like a Sony (non-ES series).

What output on your computer are you using..? A headphone jack...because those do produce their own distortion and don't often match up with the RCA ins on an AVR...that can and often, also, produce a nice 60 hz ground loop hum on from some PCs.

Most H/Ks are pretty good high current designs which should be OK!

swap your speakers with a good known set and see if the problem follows.

Ya i'm connected through the headphone jack but i always have and this buzzing seems to be new, thing is some songs still sound amazing, most songs actually it's just a select few that have the buzzing and i'm even hearing it on a few aiff files that are directly off a CD, Unfortunately right now these are the only speakers i have so i can't test any others with the receiver

Have the cables that go to your speakers been damaged at all soon, or it could be the mp3, because sometimes if you go a long time without updating your songs or syncing them on your mp3, it can lose some quality.
I mostly think it is the sight/program/place....that you have been downloading the songs from, because I know with Itunes and some other places, some of the songs that you buy and download arent the best quality.
