I saw Billy on Conan's show as well, but he also made recurring appearances on Jay Leno's show spoofing his TV persona during the last several months of his run. From all indications, especially watching his Discovery show, Billy seems like a nice guy.

And yes, they're still showing his commercials this afternoon....at least here in the Bay Area.

I'm going to miss not seeing him during late night TV. RIP Billy.

What about David Caradine? Shouldn't he be included in these celebrideath threesome discussions? Give Grasshopper some props for dying and in such a unique way to boot.

I actually got hit in the side of the head just behind my ear a few weeks ago with a softball. I got knocked down but not out, even played the rest of the game. But, I hauled **** to the hospital for a CT scan afterwards, not worth taking any chances.

Unfortunately, Billy Mays wasn't as lucky as me and/or intelligent enough to get checked out.

Maybe a good rule of thumb should be: If you get hit hard in the head, go to the doctor.
RIP Billy! Sad to see so many talented, fairly young people go out recently.

Possibly same thing that happened to Natasha Richardson earlier this year happened to Billy. :(

As for David Carradine, on the same day he passed away, Shih Kien passed away at 96....who was he? Western audience may remember him as "Han" in Bruce Lee's Enter The Dragon

He's a horribly unfunny hack? All his characters and drawings are exactly the same? He spent two weeks telling a story about his girlfriend's miscarriage in an online gaming comic?

Did I mention his comics aren't funny? Ever?
