    Guess I ought to add, while I am not a homosexual, and don't understand one man being attracted to another, one of the best friends I have ever had, was/is ****. If I had a son, I would trust my good friend to take him fishing, or camping, or whatever. I worked and flew around the world for over ten years with this man. Hell, I HIRED the guy into the job, directly from the Air Force into the Jersey Air Guard. OMIGOD, I actually shared a room with him on plenty of occasions. It took me a while to realize that we were "different" in some respects. My very good friend is a very good HUMAN BEING, despite his sexual preference. Can't say that about a SHITLOAD of "straight" folks that I know. I used to enjoy his company almost every day, but now that he has retired, I rarely see him at all. I miss his companionship terribly. And that's a fact Jack.


    This forum IS the real world, not a fantasyland. Real folks have differences of opinions.

    You guys are amazing! The whole **** tele-tubbie thing was started by the leader of the "Moral Majority" Jerry Fallwell. His comments were directed at a character, not at the person inside the suit.
    Mr. Rodgers ****!?!? I'm sure his wife, children, and grandchildren would like to know how some of you rocket scientists came to that enlightened conclusion. Have any of you ever seen him out of character? I didn't think so. Any of you brainiacs even know that he was also a Minister?

    Looks, acts, sounds, smells ****.......HHMMMM....MUST BE ****!

    Lets apply that that same logic to some of the idiotic comments made around here....Looks idiotic, sounds idiotic, seems idiotic....HHHMMMM...the guy that posted that commrent must be an IDIOT!!

    Let's all try something new since we're turning over a new leaf.....How about engaging the brain before allowing the fingers to touch the keys....on second thought it's too much to ask.

    I didn't say that I TRULY believed Mr. Rogers to be ****, just that it could have been perceived for him to be. The point being, perceptions aren't shiat.     I'm not a 'phobe at all, but let's break it down. You have a bunch of hug-happy midgets in plush fat suits with very femanine voices (even for the males). They run around with sticks and triangles on their heads, and the names - Tinky Winky? Dipsy? LAA LAA? Even Barney at least has a somewhat normal name. I swear, Christopher Lowel must be the frickin producer of that half hour daily **** pride parade.

    rs159, for a child, they're not looking at the show and getting that there's a person in the suit. They're not human replicas, so who said that they have to talk in normal voices. How many times have you been around an infant and started goo gooing and ga gaing just to get the lil one to crack a smile? Is that teaching the kid to be feminine? I REALLY hope that you're gonna say NO to that.

    By no means am I an in your face **** activist, but I find it amazing that intelligent people turn stupid with this issue. I'm afraid to know what your other generalizations are about other shows that are on tv. Don't let your judgemental attitudes affect what your child may perceive to be nothing more than something to laugh at and have fun. That's the kind of overreaction that reminds me of the lil 2nd grader(i think) that got suspended or expelled from school for kissing a girl that he thought was cute, and all under the reasoning of sexual harrassment. Tell me that won't affect how he perceives affection. Also, there's nothing wrong with hugs. They might be outside of your comfort zone, but kids hug each other all the time. Is hugging all of a sudden a big **** plot to convert people? My god..........

    I've gone off the deep end on this one, so I'll end with this.....

    It's entertainment people. Don't try to overanalyze shows that are geared for people at least 1/10th your age. It's not by any means gonna make ya look too smart.

    I second that whole heartidly, Just a bunch of crap, and with that.. I think it's time for me to take a short break from the board.. Their is just to much going on, to much drama, and not enough good ol' fun, i may read and surf but i need to take a break.. maybe good things will come to those who wait and watch and listen
