How bout one more thing to the list of leaf turn overs around here.. My wife reads sometimes also and i am sure other peoples wives and maybe kids also.. But how bout enough of all the Flying F words, useing Effin is not to to bad ... But using FuXx is just dirty and uncalled for, How bout some less than 4 letter words, i would use others as example But Fu seems to be the popular wording around here.. I have used Effin, But for goodness sakes,, if not for the wives and others for ourselves... and newbies at hand..

My pennies worth. This board is alot better at sticking to the subject than most. Chat rooms, boards, etc. ALL suffer from two malodies. Character and personality. Pissing contests are regressive and destructive, but for the most part, this site sticks to its mission. I (personally) do not appreciate pics that are ****. Otherwise, I visit this site almost dailey to LEARN and once in a while put my 2 dragma's worth in......

I have seen the teletubies, or whatever they are called, spelled whatever. As soon as they started to speak this gibberish I quickly changed the channel. Besides the fact the TV show just looks, sounds, is ****. Who cares which one is ****, the show is ****. Alot of shows are ****, TV is ****. Music ROCKS!

To a 14 or 30 year old maybe, But to a 3,4 or 5 year old it is interesting.. and the **** thing is garbage.. Do you think a freakin 4 year old knows that the purple teletubby is ****?? or even knows what **** is? NOpe.. My daughter used to watch them and i didn't see a problem, Mister Rogers acted/looked kinda **** to some people but he was a great role model and a great show for years and years,

Personally, When I was 7 I would pass through the Mr. Rogers show. I would turn it as soon as he started talking because he sounded entirely to friendly.

I don't remember whether or not the dispute was that the purple Teletubbie was ****, or the actor in the suit was. Regardless, I agree with faster.......stop being silly. In all reality, who cares.

I had to laugh though at your Mr. Rogers comment faster. If there was someone on TV that I would have pegged as being **** while I was growing up, he was one. Regardless, and with all due respect to his passing, he entertained kids, and that's all that ya gotta do with those types of shows.

I do find it sad though how many people are so overprotective with their kids about things, regardless of the issue at hand. Being overprotective does more damage than good IMO.

Personally, My parents keep me on an exstended leash so to speak. The only reason they do is because they know I will not do anything stupid. I have heard many people on here say something along the lines of "Shouldn't you be masturbating and experimenting with drugs?" Well In truth, I have sense, and truly I believe in god and masturbation is lust, and lust is a sin. Therefore I wont even experiment as I do not want to step into an addiction. Drugs, well drugs are stupid. I know the affects and its nothing good. In all due respects (listen to a kid) trust your kids, and they'll respect you. If you keep them on a choke collar your kids will hate you. Let them have more freedom, if you raised them right they will change the channel when something comes on that they KNOW that they should not watch. Same with music, if its trashy and they know its not right then they will turn it. Sorda like the saying, "A garden is only as good as the gardener."

I'm not a 'phobe at all, but let's break it down. You have a bunch of hug-happy midgets in plush fat suits with very femanine voices (even for the males). They run around with sticks and triangles on their heads, and the names - Tinky Winky? Dipsy? LAA LAA? Even Barney at least has a somewhat normal name. I swear, Christopher Lowel must be the frickin producer of that half hour daily **** pride parade.

And even *IF* Mr. Rogers was ****, at least he taught kids something. Not like the Teletubbies who just teach kids to talk as femanine as they can and hug eachother all the time. There's homosexuality, and then there's just being a flamer.

It has nothing to do with how much the real world says profanity.. I just thought when we argue in here that maybe it didn't have to include **** this and Eff that.. I use the word don't get me wrong, I'm no prude when it comes to cursing in the "real world" but this isn't the real world on here.. it's the internet and we are here to read and learn and now and then screw off for fun, Not here to verbally abuse everyone who enters when we get all pissed over something......... yet another one of my "makes sense" post that doesn't seem to click around here..

So much railing in one post can cause derailing. Thats why railroads were invented, so they can collide and eventually get back to the one that started it and can get fined. I think we gotta go ahead and realize, people will not copy and paste a post and quote it in another. It just is a waste of time. Sometimes the post needs to derail. Eventually it will re-rail. Sometimes the subject has ended, all agreeds and something starts up in that same thread. No problem.

Arguing is good in some exstents. Although on this forum it isnt arguing, its verbal man slaughtering. People are being cut, drilled, nailed, murdered, put down. Its simple, Put it in the middle between no arguing and calm, easy arguing. No cut downs. Simple

Well if this is so simple then how come we cant let this Iraq war die. If a conversation is at hand, let it continue. I now find the HOS rude, because I wanted to discuss a few of the threads they hijacked over there. Now I cant. Pisses me off really. A simple, ok end this dosnt nessacarily make that topic end.
