Projector -- Pull down screen, obviously...

I would advise against this, but if you really HAVE to then make sure it's tab tensioned. The pull down screens will develop waves and will look like S!

Oh and congrats on the place!

    Thanks --

Well, with the low interest rates and the tax credit...

    This place is immaculate...

I am looking at a motorized screen... that is acoustically transparent...

    Noooo carpet.

    Noo nooo noo!

I will use a rug - but I absolutely hate carpet. lol

I figure I will use SVS cylinder subs for acoustical treatments in the corners! ;)

Wood floors are fine. Wall to wall carpet can make things too dead.

A little acoustic treatments on the walls, some furniture covering the floor, maybe an area carpet if it needs damped down.

First things first actually - changing out the locks, new front and rear door (metal), and an alarm system. That will be done before I move anything in! :)
