Project RM-5 Custom Made Aluminum Clamp

Found this while cleaning out the closet. A machinist friend of mine made this for my Project RM-5 table(now sold). It's made out of aluminum, has a few minor surface scuffs that should polish out. They aren't gouges, just the "scuffs" that raw aluminum gets.



Be a nice piece to anodize or just polish and use as is.

Is it much different than the standard clamp that comes with the RM-5?

PM has been returned, Dawgfish was inquiring about it fitting a Technics table. I have no idea. I know it fits an RM5.

I believe I'm just going to go ahead and get a clamp specifically made for the 1200, so if you want to take a crack at getting the clamp, by all means go right ahead. Baggedlancer, thanks for your replies. I hope everything works out with your sale.

Except for the colour it looks identical to my Pro-ject 6.9 standard clamp, so I would take a very logical guess and say "yes" it is threaded.

Threaded, a little heavier, looks cooler and you can finish it how you want.
