I am sure it's been done before, but I just gotta say how impressed I am with Ken and Lauren. They're patient and fast and accurrate... I can't even begin to imagine how many e-mails, calls and faxes they get and respond to daily.

I just received a reply from Ken at 17:45 his time. Well into OT I'm sure for him for which he's not even compensated. Gotta admire that, and it's certainly a sign of a person that loves their work. Which in turn means they're working in a quality organization that promotes that kind of loyalty and dedication.

Anyway hats off to Ken and Lauren and the rest of Polk to boot...
Here's to y'all...
More later,

The best service I have ever received from any customer support department. They make purchasing Polk products an even greater bang for your buck. I just wish their products were more widely distributed in the mid-upscale retail stores. CC sure doesn't do them justice.

A1 service, they do care about the *individual* customer. A rarity for a company that has grown large, and actually 'made it'. Mom and pop serivce.

I sent a number of email questions to both Ken and Lauren prior to the purchase of my speakers listed below, and I mentioned in one of my emails to Ken that he was one of the reasons I decided to go with Polk speakers, and to make sure his boss knew this! Sure, my ears and speaker build quality were the primary decision makers, but excellent customer service/support comes second and in my case, the service/support CREATED a purchase instead of being the result of one.

I did a shootout awhile ago against a pair of 30watt speakers and blew a mid/woofer. Damn clipping, not having dynamic range, 8 ohm tops, Son* receiver.

After a phone call and CC#, I had a new mid/woof at my door in 2 days.

I dunno - I sent them an email about a month ago asking about the replacement cost for grilles for my f/x1000's that were damaged in shipment (because those grilles are not listed on the website).

    Never heard back from them.

Doc, they are not the best with returning email's, use the phone, you'll get right in. I've sent off emails and never heard back as well.

Other than a lost email or two, excellent, top-notch CS.

    Peace Out~:D

    Hello Forum,
Thank you for those very encouraging remarks, we genuinely appreciate our customers and try to make their ownership of Polk speakers as enjoyable as possible. I can tell you that reading your comments is wonderful, it means a great deal to all of us. Again, thank you very much.
Dr. Spec, the replacement grille for the f/x1000 is BF0216-B and sells for $28.00 (Club Polk members would receive a 20% reduction, making it $22.40) and may be ordered from us at 1-800-377-7655 and they are in stock. I don't know why an email response wasn't received, sorry.
    Regards, Ken

    Thanks Ken!

My confidence in Polk CS is restored and your reply is most appreciated. Per Ron's advice, I will use the phone number instead of email from now on.

    Thanks again,

    Ed

    Hello Kevin,
Thanks for the offer. At the present time we are fully staffed, but it would be a good idea to send your resume to me at polkcs@polkaudio.com and I'll forward it to the HR folks for future consideration and I'll keep a copy in my files. You never know.
    Regards, Ken
