Yeah I played with them alot and found it to be true in all the rooms I have Installed them in.
I feel in love with them in the store one day when I was listening to Al Di Meola. He WAS in the room with me along with his band.I almost could smell the cymbols as the wooden drum sticks hit.The ring went right into my soul and the love happened...........

Anytime you need advice with them,or simply want them out, chime in ok

Just looked at the AudioGon link...

    First, nice plant stands...:)

Second (with tour poised to show his ignorance), WTH is that on the floor? The bass unit?

    Gary,Mantis,
Could the reason this guy is selling be that they can't perform in his room? Looks like an awfully "tight fit" to me, but I don't know these speakers.

Can't help but think he'd been better off with them on the left-hand, long wall. At least with them there he'd have been able to get to his fire place...

    Here's the pic:

I would agree with that. You can't CHOKE a panel speaker.Thats whats going on in the pic. They are to close to the side walls and back walls.Martin Logan speakers need to sit by themselves.Away from everything if you want MAX performance out of them. This room is TOTALL WRONG for Martin Logan.
On a side note, this is one of Martin Logans down falls I believe.Extremely picky and touchy.Place them wrong and they sound terrible.
That thing behind the centerchannel,???got me man.I don't know what that is.

I heard the new Logans are going to have a conventional tweeter as well as the panel. Much like the center channel they have. Logans are an open and airy speaker. Can't say a lot of negative comments for the upper end stuff. I have a pair of Aerius I's and prefered the sound of my SDA1C's.

Maybe its a case to store the enormous amount of cash he needs to finance his audio purchases? :D

Yeah if you're gonna spend 10k on speakers, you're gonna need to spend some serious cash on your other componets.I'd suggest bi amping those suckers with Krell. Also what cables are you using??.

You gotta remember, chain is as strong as it's weakest link.

Also vin diesel said "not a bad way to spend a 100k."JFYI :)
