Well, it has been 12 hours since these dolls walked into my life, and I must say these dames have some voice! I told a fellow member of my trip home with the TL's, so I though I would share. They were not loaded in my truck until 10pm and it was then that I began the 9 hour drive home. There were a few scattered clouds about and I did not think much of it. The sun was gone, and so I took comfort in the moonlight. as I pressed on for home the skys becan to take on a more ominous tone. Lightning iluminated the sky in all direction, followed by the sharp crack of thunder so close it was like cannonshot...

I am a spiritual man on many levels but do not attend a church of any kind. As I travelled, I asked God to just let me get these speakers home without them being damaged by the rain I knew was coming. If He would do this for me, I promised to go back to chuch...

I travelled through places the rain had been, I could see it all around me. After 7 hours of travelling though the middle of all this weather, not ONE raindrop fell on my truck! It was not until,I had backed the bed of the truck in the garage to unload them that the rain finally caught up to me....

Anyway sorry for the long post.. here they are!

they are all I remembered my old ones being and more, as now I will be buried with them:cool:

    Hi John:

You did well and the good Lord does provide as you have found. Being a spiritual person does not require going to church to prove. You can prove it daily in your actions and how you treat others.

I hope you enjoy your new 1.2tl's as much as I am enjoying mine.....I set off on my road trip expecting SDS-SRA's and the Lord provided 1.2tl's!

    best,

    Paul

You asked a question, so I'll take a stab at answering it.

I think you should be a man - a man of your word - and go back to church.

Get to effin' church and say your effin' prayers, darn it! Don't bother with a boring service and sermon, necessarily, if that's not your thing. If you find it boring, it won't be "spiritual" or useful anyway, but you could just find a church that is open for visits and go and sit down in a corner somewhere quietly to do your thing. Oh, and make a donation of at least $50 to the poor and needy.

Congratulations on your purchase, but put them in your will instead of burying them with you: that might be a sinful waste of good speakers.

they sound better on the Sunfire than they did on the set of Belles monoblocks I demo'd them on. The Sunfire has the chops to run the TL's to levels that are enough to scare me:D

.... In fairness to the Belles, the sda drivers were bypassed and set to run in stereo with the stereo drivers. They sounded like crap until I repaired the sda connections...
