Looks that way to me for now. Makes me wonder do Boeing sells Jets?

Economy must be really down worldwide for Boeing unable to get an order for a Single Jet yet!

Back when Airbus had issues with delivering 380, Boeing enjoyed some high time with its Dreamliner 787 on time delivery promise (at that time). Now that 380s are actually delivered and flown and 787 is behind schedule by two years, the table has turned. And the cycle continues...
I am sorry, I have no opinion on the matter. I am sure you do. So, don't mind me, I just want to talk audio and pie.

That's not what the article states. Boeing did not get any orders, and Airbus got one order, on the first day of the Paris Air Show. For the year, the results are still not great, according to the article, since after cancellations, Boeing have seven aircraft currently on order and Airbus thirty-five, including that one order at the show for twenty.

In any case, both have had to delay the delivery of existing orders, as pointed out by polkatese, since they could not keep up during the develpment and testing phases, so it's not as if they have nothing to build or deliver right now.

Right Kex! Hence the words "For Now" and "Yet" below. ;)

Initially I though I was going to grab myself a Boeing 7xx, but then the Airbus' started looking good, but have become kind of the "cool" airplane to have. At this point, I think its time to start another trend and pickup a Lockheed.

Hell in this economy I may find a great deal on a SR-71 or YF-12a... always wanted one of them.

Maybe we can replace Air Force One with one of those big A380's

I am going to wait until Boeing decided to come down in price before getting my ride from them.

Edit : Hopefully, Boeing gets order on the 2nd day but I haven't heard anything so far yet.

Parking your jets in dessert would be far more inviting than parking them in the desert. You could just open up the emergency slides and let everyone slide into cake or pie (depending on which slide they used). Of course, the slides from First Class would have to also have some Champagne too.

Would you like to volunteer to sell that marketing strategy to your airline?!

Nice thing about an Airbus is that they never wear out, because every part will need replaced on a frequent basis and you've always got a half-new airplane!
