I have a Polk XRt12 XM radio installed that's about 4 years old. Lately if I haven't used the radio for a while it won't turn on without cycling power first. Once I cycle power the radio works fine. Any ideas?

    Hello,
Thanks for posting on the Forum. Is the tuner on 24/7? In other words if it isn't being turned on/off for a few days it will not be able to receive the activation signal.
    Regards, Ken

No, it's always off unless I want to use it. It is always able to see XM. The trouble is there is a faint glow of the blue power button but the power will not come on and activate the tuner unless I remove power then reconnect. Just like you have to do with your cable modem or router.

    Hello,
In that case it would be best to package up the unit and send it to: Polk Audio, 2550 Britannia Blvd., Suite A, San Diego, CA. 92154. Please include a short note giving us your name, address, a description of the problem and a daytime telephone number.
    Regards, Ken
