    The trick to good speakers is good electronics...

    Once you get the electronics and cabling down -- you will actually make those bad recordings sound a little better believe it or not. But only to a certain degree.

    Exactly. That's why I'm not worrying about spending a lot of money on speakers at this point. I'd rather spend some time getting the rest of my system squared away first. It'll be a couple years at least before I'm ready to get some Tyler's, but I like to plan ahead.;)

    For the time being, I'm loving my Monitor 7A's, and I'm sure I'll very much enjoy the time I spend with the 2A's I'm getting.
    You can joke dude. From what i've heard there's more to them than meets the eye. ;)

    It only took me 8 years, 30 pairs of speakers, 6 amps, 5 receiver/preamps, 5 cd players, 4 subwoofers, 3 different sets of cabling...

    But...it was worth it! :)
