    Nice receiver, i wanted the pioneer vsx 45 when i sold my onkyo amp a few months ago, but ended up keeping my Integra and got a new center rear speaker and blew the rest :)
    got price as it seems sid,

    Let me know what ya think, i still might want the 45 or 47 model later, they just look impressive, if i can find a model local to look at first hand and hear

    Thanx, ill get a reveiw in. I like this PE compared to the yammer. Just looks better, and probally sounds alot better. I like the features on the PE, like the pull down door, and the LCD remote. 6.1, I will be taking full advantage of that. In that i mean buy a CSi40 and moving the CS245i in the back. I plan to enjoy 6 channel stereo. That should be FUN! Well, I hope it gets here soon. Ill keep ya'll posted.

    The PE has PREOUTS! EL YES!!!! the adcom will be fired up and making my mains scream to hell, I am buying the PE as a Pre/pro, I wont be using the amps more than 4 months if its up to me. I plan on getting another GFA-545II for centers, and a GFA-535II for surrounds.

    The Pioneer Elite vsx47tx is one hell of a receiver.I would go as far as saying it's the best or 2nd best receiver in it's class(Rotel has the edge on sound quality alone),that class would be the 2g to 2.5g.Nice receiver.

    great job! Looks like a winner receiver...looks very solid and the name sell itself. I have several PE in the house, and they are solid performers....let us know how it goes

    LOL. I am proud of this purchase! Im moving the adcom now so I can use it right away, I moved my TV over 6 inches and put up another 1 foot of room for the adcom. Now it has room to work and all. So Its ready for the PE
