I would like to take a moment and mention a couple of members here that have gone "Above & Beyond" for me lately.

I recently bought a quad of tubes from our own george daniels...they came in as promised, and are a good addition to my meager tube stash.

Today,I received yet another quad of EL-34's from george, with a note explaining that he thought this set my be a little stonger than the original quad...WTF...I can't remember the last time that I have ever gotten anything more than what I paid for...

Also,I was the winner of a recent Karma offered by Hawkeye..."Gordon" for a pair of Maple Shade speaker wires...I was elated to say the least.

I get a p.m. from Gordon stating that he had been busy last week, and it took him a while to get the wires to the P.O. NO big deal to me.

He goes on to state that he has also included a Maple Shade power cable for me to try out also..."All a part of the deal"

All I can say is:these two guys are "Heads and Shoulders" above the rest...I feel very fortunate to be a part of such a great community of Audio Nuts that share the passion, and that are such great people to boot.

Club Polk is without a doubt the greatest place on Earth, and I thank Polk Audio for providing us with such a good medium for the Audio Buffs that hang here.

Thanks you george and Hawkeye, you both are two of the reasons this is such a special place.

Cheers and happy Listening,Mike

Good to see the Polk Family spirit. Lots of this stuff happens in the background without everyone knowing. Love this place.

I agree. George is one of the nicest people you would ever want to meet. I consider myself lucky to have met him, even luckier he lives so close to me.:D

I hope I have the privilege of speaking to Hawkeye one of these days.

That's how they get you Mike....next thing you know, George will be sleeping in your spare bedroom or Gordon will get caught masturbating in the bushes. Be careful man.

Absolutely true! It's nice to see threads like this that remind us of that from time to time. I greatly appreciate Club Polk and its members.

I recently sold something in the FM to a member here. We had agreed on the price and I was to add the shipping cost. When I did so, the buyer actually took it upon himself to round the shipping figure up and pay me more than I asked for. It's a small gesture, some might say, but it still shows the spirit of CP.

I could name a bunch of folks that have been good to me, I've tried to be a friend in return. In fact there are so many good people here, I'd be afraid of listing them because my old brain may inadvertently forget someone. You know who you are, I've made some great friends here and I hope to make many more. Club Polk is all about the fine Polk products, the professional and courteous people who make them, and of course the great people on the Forum who use and love them. You people who are special already know who you are!!!:)

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. Well...that's just kinda how it works around here. There are plenty of posts about guys wearing assless chaps, hiding in bushes...eating pie...all sorts of stuff. It's nothing out of the norm. It's called humor.;)

Sounds like some stand up members. Great Karma guys! This truly is one of the greatest places on the web.

I'm not sure if I'm replying to your planet, but when did kids become a part of the forum? Kids have other places to be and I don't believe anything is less than stellar here. You sound like a troll. Bring it.

I hope there at least rose bushes available. The thorns can be prickly......hold on, I need to control myself. Besides, I'm good enough and fast enough to not get caught :D

There are so many people on this forum that have helped me and given me gear, LPs, CDs etc, that like Carl said they are too many to list without missing someone.

Slowpolky, lighten up. It is called humor which lately this place is in sore need.

There have been a lot of people who have helped me here without ever meeting me. Mark is someone that I consider a friend (even after he has aided in spending unnecessary amounts of money to upgrade :p). Ted just shipped me a subwoofer for my parents set-up at no charge. Jim has hooked me up with awesome deals and is as nice as they come. There have been so many others that have helped me with advice, well wishes, prayers, etc. that the list would be too long to post. Basically, this place is full of them.

That said, Mark's humor is hilarious to me. When something is so obviously over the top and sarcastic, I can't help but laugh. I try to picture the faces of the people that don't know him trying to figure out if he's kidding or not and it makes me laugh harder.

Merge that Asses list with F1's Bozo List, and we should be able to rid the Club of a whole pile of garbage! Some trolls are actually an insult to asses and bozos, both of which can be sought after for their own merit IMO.

George Daniel seems a cool guy to deal with even though I have never bought the Amazing from him before. :)

Gordon is a generous man to Karma the cool gears.

Mike Reeter is a very kind person to thanks the men properly.

The rest in the Club Polk Rocks when it comes to lend a helping to what they could offer.
