I have an onkyo sr 706 and I am using it with 2 monitor 50s and a center channel cs2. I recently had it hooked up with some monitor 30s also but not right now. Since disconnected my 30s have my three front speakers received an increase in power or do I have to now bi amp these speakers with the two unused channels to gain this power that would generally be used for the rear surrounds?

You Don't gain any power by bi-wiring or bi-amping within the same AVR amp. So just wire as you normally would, the speakers will draw what they need.
