What are the ROUGH room size guidelines for choosing between a 400, 500, and 600 series of this Polk sub. Use would be HT, and only running a single sub. at this time. please advise...
(current setup - RTiA9s, CSiA6, FXiA6; 5.1 HT setup)

Get the 600.... With your current setup for HT the 600 is ideal. I have the same setup as you for the most part but i am running 7.2 I have the FXiA6's on the sides and rears and i also have the DSW 600 and DSW 500.

Go with the 600 and don't look back.

Go to go with Larry on this!

A9s can put out some BASS...so the largest of that series IS necessary! You'll be happy.

Thanks for talking me out of trying to "cheap-out" on the sub...there are a few 600's on Ebay right now....
