Down here in DC. I've seen Star Trek, Wolverine, had lots of great food to eat. And today Mark & I went up to IQ Entertainment in Fairfax, VA and came back with a DSW Pro 500 for Mark's birthday gift to himself!!!:D

Sean or Shawn I don't know which, made a deal we just couldn't refuse. They just opened for business & were happy to see us. He was even going to give us a good deal on the LSIC, but Mark wants to upgrade his amplification first.

We haven't hooked it up yet, but when we do, I'll report back. I expect it to make a huge difference & the movie watching enjoyment factor to go through the roof!:D

My wife just took our 11 year old to D.C. over a weekend, they did the Museums before Night at the Museum II came out. Then last week I took her to the movie. Sounds like you're having a nice time.

And of course we're envious of the new sub. The 500 is a nice one!

    Enjoy...!

    Will do George.

I have been to DC quite a few times & have done more museums than I can count! My coming down here now is all about hanging out with Mark since I only get to see him 2-3 times a year.

I think we might see Terminator tomorrow & we might go to see Museum 2 on Friday.

Where is IQ Entertainment? I'm in Alexandria/Falls Church for business this week and Fairfax is like 10 miles away according to Google maps.

You two have fun and enjoy the new purchase. A very nice sub for the price. Polk subs have come a long way.

No Al. I didn't. Mark & I are going out so that I can get him a couple of things for his birthday.

Although my treat is that Mark sees to it that I see all the movies I want & he makes all of my favorite foods when I'm down here, and takes me to resturants that I can't get to at home. So I'm a happy camper!:D

Or as Mark said during the opening scene of Troy when the floor shook & the wood cabinets with the glass doors behind us rattled...OH ****!:D

Well Mark has gone up to the next level in audio. He LOVES his new sub!

Now that the 7's are not struggling to play everything, they are now nice and clear focusing on what they are best at. What a difference.

It was such great fun watching Mark's eyes get huge & his head whip around to look at his rattling cabinets & the HUGE grin come over his face as he heard the sub go into action!

This is what it's all about! When I come down in Sept., we might go for the LSIC.:)

Keiko, you really know how to talk nice to them ladies! Glad you're having fun Ms. Frizz (don't forget to have some nice wines with those nice meals!).

I miss D.C. and the whole Georgetown/Virginia/equestrian atmosphere, not to mention driving past the monuments every day. Maybe we'll move back some day ... it's cheap in comparison to here too.

LOL! Don't be too hard on them Ted.

Snow has never been to a PF & probably didn't know my brothers name is Mark as well.

And Joe didn't join up til 2006 & Mark's first PF was in 2005.

FYI, Mark, (BaggedLancer) has never been to a PF either.

Well I'm back home now getting ready to go get a checkup. My doctor is probably going to hand me my head & tell me all the thing that now should be non existant in my diet & to run 20 miles every day!

Thanks Engtaz. Now I'm enjoying my 2nd week of vacation here. Especially since I've gotten the checkup out of the way. My BP is back to normal at 132/72. I just have to lose 10lbs in 3 months before I go back for a weight check though!

That's all? Ten pounds? May I suggest you just find some thumpin' tunes you like and start dancing to them twice a day for five or ten minutes, walk 1,000 steps at a fast, but normal pace (not speed walking, or whatever it's called) once every day, and you'll be all set IMO! You'll have to count the steps the first time, to see what distance that equates to in your neighborhood, but it's not hard!

No that's just the start of the weight loss, she wants me to take off more, but doesn't want me to stress out over it.

Which is good, because work causes enough of that.

Gotcha! I agree: stressing about it is frequently, if not always, a mistake that can even make matters worse, not better. You could try the daily 1,000 though, the results might surprise you. Anyways, welcome home, and enjoy the rest of your holiday!

I just spent this past week in National Harbor Md. :( It is just south of the southern most extent of the beltway and has a commanding view of of the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. A place to trap professionals, while disallowing them to take advantage of what the Nation's Capital has to offer. :(
