Your good. Just make sure you don't let those cap legs touch anything.
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

Sorry for the delay. I almost took them out right at first. The first thing I noticed was a loss of bass slam, detail, and the highs were too laid back. The bass slam returned after a couple hours and I got back some of the clean sharp highs I like so much. The detail still seems a little lacking compared to without the bypass mod.It seems the dayton caps open up after only a few hours as I noticed with the rebuilt xovers so I will give them a couple weeks and then pull them out and see if I like em with or without.
I will say however that this was a very easy and inexpensive mod to perform.

Thanks for the post.............give them a couple weeks of burn in and see what happens. Not all tweaks work the same for each person.
