hi,
i recently came into possession of a polk audio psw 140 powered subwoofer and after about a week of use the fuse blew. i went to radioshack and picked up similar fuses ot the one in the sub. as soon as i put the new fuse in and plugged it in the fuse blew.i tried this three times on different phases and the same thing happened. can someone help me with this problem??

If the fuse is blowing, you've got a short, and it's probably in the plate amp. You can take the sub in for servicing, or call polk customer service and ask how much a plate amp is if the sub isn't under warranty any more. You'd also get a discount for being a member of the forum.
