hi. i just bought an onkyo 607(aint here yet) to replace my htib . With the htib i used bare wire via spring clips. I have heard mono price is a good place to shop for cables and what not. Can you recomend what banana plugs and what kind of speaker wire i can buy to get an optimum connection

Hello Slowpolkie and welcome to the forum. Though you will probably get different ideas here in this thread, my suggestion would be to run a search in what you are looking for. There are two current threads on this very topic with hundreds of threads touching on the topic(s) mentioned.

While you are awaiting answers here, you might want to take some time and read the various threads that already exist here in the Polk forum archives. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them here. Just a word of warning.....there is so much to read on this subject that you may be reading for the next 5 days straight.

That's ok. We have all been there before at one point.

Do you see the blue bar [could be grey or another color as I'm kinda color blind] that goes across the screen toward the top of the screen? It starts with userCP and ends with log out. Just hit the search feature toward the right of the bar and type in speaker cable, nanner's, banana or any other key words that you can think of. You might try the advanced feature to narrow down your search once you get the hang of things.

Once you get a thread that deals with the topic you are looking for, read it for the information you want to absorb. That said, when you are done with reading that particular thread, look down at the bottom left hand corner of the page [you have to scroll all of the way down] and you will find related topics. I hope that this helps. If not, please let us know.

Just type in "nanner's". Here's one that's recent dealing with that particular subject.

You can either follow the other threads listed after you type in nanner's or just follow the related topics at the bottom left hand corner [all of the way down].
