I recently discovered the tweeter on my Monitor 5B was damaged. It sounded fuzzy and anemic. I had a spare SL2000 tweeter my friend had given me and put it in. The new tweeter had 11T stamped on the back. Is there a difference between this SL2000 and my old one. It works fine. I was wondering if polk make slight modifications for the tweeter of each Monitor series speaker.

Don't believe they did, SL2000 should be just that, SL2000.

    I removed damaged SL2000's from my Monitor 8's, they were labled SL2000 - SDA 2 / CRS.
