Not me. I'm standing pat for now...audio wise. I have other "needs" to deal with.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. Have you decided yet? You have excellent gear listed in your sig. Would be pretty interesting to see what you end up with.

well I made it through the weekend without buying anything, I did however clean the rest of the vinyl I got from GG, sounds great, playing the The Final Cut yesterday I wondered why I even bother with the digital, until I played the Nora Jones with Peter M., SACD. I pretty much had the whole of Sunday to myself the Rig and most importantly the music, it was nice.

    I need a new cartridge.
I need to address power issues.
    I need a new rack.
    I need some panels.
    I need some amp stands.
I would like a new TT.

I am in the middle of a fundamental listening change.

mostly because of the circle patterns, accordingly as changes occur there is never a first or even a start, very non-linear methodology leading to a rather disorganized natural chaos to systems management evetually resulting in perfect order, however, I did enjoy a conversation last evening regarding thoughts on the harmonics of source components and power cord technology. Also, I have found a solution to adding more air and space to the system but its still a work in progress, one thing though

    Tubes Rule.

    Two words; NEW TURNTABLE!!!

The one RT1 has looks to be a great table. I would vote for maybe a better cart match with the rest of the system? Of course to properly mount the new cart you might need a slight tweaking of the turntable, which then in the circlular process referenced by RT1 gets you to the new turntable :)

Have you considered a wall mounted TT stand so the TT doesn't get the vibrations that travel all the way up the metal stand ya' got?

wall mounts are by definition fixated, suggesting linearity within the circle, at best they can deliver tangency to any given point along the system path. It cannot be good to introduce fixation within a fluid system. This would in fact become a fundementally fatal error.

however, should you review the "wants" you will note the rack want, rest assured though in the meantime until the want is fullfilled the vibrations (remember digging those good vibrations) within the system circle are gently removed through a dissaption process and turned to energy released back into the system cirlce but not the audio signal.
