sl2500?

I am looking at a pair of RTA 8TL's from my local CL, and the seller says a tweeter is bad. After calling Polk CS (Eric (Wong?)) and asking for a replacement sl2500, he said it was available, but after reading more on here, it seems like that may not be the original sl2500 but the RDO198? So, the ? is, is the sl2500 original still available from Polk directly, or is it the RDO198? If it is the sl2500 I think I would just replace the one, but if it is the RDO198 I would most likely replace both channels, so it does make a little bit of difference how much I want to spend on these.
