Up for your consideration is an excellent pair of Polk Audio SDA 1C's. I bought these from MillerLiteScott last year and this particular pair was featured at last year's Carverfest. Many who attended said that it was one of the, if not the best sounding rig there.

The only difference between when I got them and the way they will come to you is the tweeters have all been upgraded to the RDO194's and are included with the sale. The OEM Polk interconnect is included as well as a schematic and a copy of the original owner's manual. Everything you need to make these speakers last another 20 years are included. I will also include the OEM SL2000 tweeters that came with the speakers from MillerLiteScott.

You can find detailed pictures here >>> http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=67939

These are near perfect speakers condition - wise. With the exception of the water stains at the top of the R speaker, these could be considered brand new just by looking at them. Oh, I almost forgot. Also included is a set of spikes that have been professionally installed [Thanks Jesse ;)]. There is absolutely not one issue at all sonically with this pair of 1C's. Look above at the following link for a more detailed description and thanks for looking.

That would be no issue but I would only feel confident if they were crated. That may get a little pricey. I have the tools to crate it myself and I have a truck to deliver it to a shipper but that's about all I could offer. Of course, buyer would pay for packing materials and shipping costs. Sorry, but these are too fine a pair to let some gorilla ruin.

These are very nice speakers. I decided to concentrate on my SDA 2B's instead because they fit my size room better than the 1C's. This is an awesome deal for someone to step into the mid sized SDA's ready to roll.

Great deal Tom. Good luck with your sale.

Very interested treitz3. I had a pair of 2Bs' I believe they were, sold them and bought a complete Lsi system with Lsi25s'. They are great for home theatre but miss the sdas' for straight stereo cd listening. They just can't be beat for that. Please email me at joegjr1@verizon.net. I can pick them up.

Correctamundo,,,, Tom,, I'm under the impression that the potential buyer must be able to provide proof that they will be powered by tubed amplification. Yes;),,Good luck with the sale,,whoever gets these will be lucky indeed, and with the proper gear, they will attain the "magic" realm that so escapes the solid state world. ;):)

The price is to cheap, while everybody is thinking about it you should think about raising it, worse than the banks driving down the real estate market. A nice set like these go for around 600-650.

I would not sell my 1Cs for that price unless it was an absolute necessity.

The 1c's are to good a speaker to sell for less than 600.00 in my opinion...

Actually, there is a deal in the works amongst established Polkies since early yesterday. We are just keeping it behind the scenes for right now. Might as well consider them sold for now.......or at the very least, on hold pending actual sale.

I know the price is great. It's about Polkies helping other Polkies out and cutting the brotherhood a good deal. Plus, as I mentioned before.....I have a new toy I have to pay for and there's no sense beating around the bush to get these bad boys out the door.

Thanks for the input fellas. Rest assured if they do not sell here, Craigslist and Flea-Prey will have a much higher price. That's for damn sure.

No, I can't. I have some scheduled classes at the hospital that my wife and I must attend. There is a chance, however that we could relay them. If I'm not mistaken, Russ [Lightman1] is headed down for the festivities.

you better believe I do, with those telee smooth plates that was one of the best sounding pre's I ever owned, did not know you had picked it up from GD, one of a kind custom piece as well. I always dug that wood remote that Gary made me for that piece.
