Hey y'all,
i just got my new stereophile in the mail yesterday evening and Rob Rienna
reviews the polk LSi7 and with quite a bit of praise too..
He says: These things excell extremely in
continuous and extended dynamic range and this is the first affordable peaker that excelled at both (MSRP 820 dollars..)..............................
also- Extraordinary retrieval of detail and ambience............................
also-Pinpoint image specificity on a wide deep soundstage....................
and then-Detailed extened, airy and natural high frequency resolution......
He compaires the LSi7 to the Paradigm atom and the polk Lsi25 and the NHT SB3 and the ALON Petite and Guess what??????

I received my copy of Stereophile in the mail today (I'm in Australia). The praise the tweeter received has got me all excited again about modding my RT2000s with the Vifa ring tweeter.

Its good to see the Polk brand standing firm in the top end press.

Yes i am glad that POLK is starting to
finally get the credibility they deserve..IF it's mid fi or lower-it does not get in stereophile even at an "E" rating but i think the lsi7 will bea "B" rf restricted rating...Peole will now start to see that polk means business .a lot of strictly high end dealers dropped them in 97 because they went to commercial , you can find polk speakers in any cheap outlet store .i think polk knows this and as asmart business man Matt decided to create a top notch line with the current new technology--the ring tweets are now in the new dynaudio and the krells and the totem (which has dynaudio drivers).hopefully this new flagship lsi series will put polk back inthe high end stores....
