About to buy some wire for 35ft runs for RT16s from an HK avr-247 (50w into 8)... would hate to drive the amp too hard. Anyone have any idea what the minimum impedance of the RT16 is? or, if (likely) lacking that information, how polk rates their speakers for nominal impedance?

I am running 50 feet of 14ga to my RTA11TLs. It seems to sound ok but should I consider going to 12ga?

Are you lacking bass? Long runs of heavy gage wire can add enough capacitance to limit the highs. If your bass is good I wouldn't change it. Heavier Ga wire will reduce resistance, but from what I have used 14 gage on longer runs is fine.

I ran 14 for my rear speaks. Distance was about 40 feet. They perform great.
